Kirichek Ruslan Valentinovich

Dr. habil. of Engineering Sciences, Full Professor, Rector of The Bonch-Bruevich St Petersburg State University of Telecommunications (Scopus ID).

He is the head of the Standards Development group for the Internet of Things, its applications and identification systems 11 of the research commission "Alarm Requirements, Protocols, testing specifications and anti-counterfeit products" of the Standardization Sector of the International Telecommunication Union (Q12/11). Certified expert in international standardization of Rosstandart. With his direct participation, together with Rostelecom PJSC, the ITU-T international recommendations and the ISO/IEC international standard were developed.

Since 2023, he has been a member of the Public Chamber of St. Petersburg, chairman of the interdepartmental working commission on digital transformation and data economics.

Chairman of the Joint Dissertation Council at the D.F. Ustinov Baltic State Technical University VOENMEH, St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation and The Bonch-Bruevich St Petersburg State University of Telecommunications. Research interests of R.V. Kirichka: Internet of Things, wireless sensor networks, flying networks, network security, protection from intentional electromagnetic influences, testing of telecommunications networks and devices, identification based on the architecture of digital objects, machine learning for embedded electronics. Ruslan Valentinovich is the author of one invention and eight registered computer programs.
